UF's Reed eats unusual snack while on the base paths

There are ways to celebrate hitting a triple in a big game. Like pumping your fist, perhaps, or giving the classic power point to your teammates in the dugout.

Then there is the Buddy Reed way to celebrate hitting a triple in a big game.

Reed, an outfielder for Florida, dug into his pocket while standing on third base against LSU and pulled out a bag of Sour Patch Kids. You have to see it to believe it:

The Gators had a quick turnaround after their 14-inning loss to the Tigers in the wee hours of Thursday morning, but still managed to defeat Alabama this afternoon. Perhaps the sugar rush did Reed and his Florida squad some good.
