Southern Miss started out the regional round of the 2016 baseball tournament with a bang, scoring a whopping 11 runs in a single inning against South Alabama. It was the best offensive inning of the year for the Golden Eagles, who went on to win the game 14-2.

The inning saw 15 batters and three pitching changes. Southern Miss, the No. 2 seed in the regional hosted by Florida State, had plenty of fans make the trip Tallahasse, and those fans were rewarded with a rarely-seen offensive outburst.
