The opening game of the Louisville Regional saw a lot of drama. So, it was only fitting that it would end in dramatic fashion.
With the game tied at six and two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Buckeye catcher Jalen Washington came to the plate with the bases loaded and left the plate jubilant to celebrate with his team.

The junior drove the ball so far deep to center that it looked like a walk-off grand slam, but the RBI single was good enough to end the game and keep the Buckeyes in the winners bracket.

Ohio State will face the winner of Louisville and Western Michigan at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday.
