The weather has not been kind to the Baton Rouge Regional. Heavy rains wiped out play on Saturday and the teams have endured multiple delays over the course of the past four days.
Rice and Southeastern Louisiana faced off in an elimination game on Monday afternoon when, you guessed it, more rain halted play with the Owls cruising 13-0 in the 8th inning.
That's when something amazing happened. As the grounds crew rolled out the tarp, the entire Southeastern squad, including head coach Matt Riser, came out to assist.

Thank you for the assist @sluathletics. We were starting to run out of gas there.
