20-year anniversary of LSU CWS walk-off HR

Just call Warren Morris Mr. June.

Twenty years ago today, the former Tiger belted perhaps the most memorable homer in College World Series history. Trailing Miami 8-7 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and a man on first, Morris did the unthinkable:

To this day, Morris’ laser that just inched over the right field wall is the only walk-off home run to clinch a national title. Miami fans might get queasy watching that clip, but LSU supporters can bask in that glory for a lifetime.
