The internet falls in love with ‘Stare Down Sammy’

If you’ve been following the College World Series, chances are you’ve seen the following video:

The clip went viral, receiving more than 34 million views on Facebook and several more elsewhere.

On Tuesday night, ‘Stare Down Sammy’ was back for more. He’s here at TD Ameritrade Park, fresh new haircut and all, and he’s turned into a bit of a local celebrity. Sammy was interviewed on the ESPN broadcast by Kaylee Hartung, and as usual, he nailed it. He also made it up on stadium videoboard, where he triumphed in, you guessed it, a staring contest.

Hilarious. It’s safe to say that the College World Series is one of the most fun events in sports.
