Coastal Carolina has won the College World Series.
The Chanticleers had been down to their final out in their regional against NC State, but rebounded to win that, beat LSU in the Super Regionals, and went 6-2 in Omaha to claim the program's first national championship, capped off by a 4-3 win against Arizona in Thursday's Game 3 of the CWS Finals.
Alex Cunningham struck out Ryan Haug for the third out with runners on second and third to secure the trophy for the Chants. Check out the final out and the ensuing dogpile:

Coastal Carolina scored all of the runs they needed in the sixth inning. Two runs came in on two errors, then G.K. Young extended the lead to 4-0 with a home run to right. Arizona threatened in the bottom of the ninth, but the Chants held on for the 4-3 win.
