With one swing of the bat, Florida catcher J.J. Schwarz turned what would've been a second straight gut-wrenching conference loss into a dramatic series win.

Schwarz stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and the Gators down 5-3 in the bottom of the eighth inning against SEC rival South Carolina. The Gators held the Gamecocks scoreless in the next frame to clinch the 7-5 victory.

Schwarz's big hit came a day after Florida failed to drive anyone home with the bases loaded in the eighth inning of a 4-2 loss to South Carolina on Friday. The Gators did not waste their second chance on Saturday.
