The Mules connected on 13 three-point field goals, and earned a spot in the regional title game with an 80-72 semi-final victory over Midwestern State.

Alex Moosman scored a game-high 25 points, hitting on five three-point field goals, and led a balanced Mules attack that included five players finishing in double figures.

The victory improves the sixth-ranked Mules to 28-4, the third most wins in a single season, as they head into the Tuesday night (7 p.m.) regional title showdown with the seventh-ranked SBU Bearcats, a 74-68 winner over Dallas Baptist in the other semi-final contest.

The Mules will play in the regional championship game for the ninth time in the previous 20 NCAA regional appearances, and will be looking to advance to the NCAA-II Elite Eight for the second time in the past three years under head coach Kim Anderson.
