Winning is nothing new for the Murray State men’s basketball program. But it is not the Racers’ success in years past that basketball buffs are buzzing about. It is the spotless record of 20-0 that has grabbed the attention of the national media and fans outside of the campus in the small town of Murray, Ky., located in the southwestern region of the Bluegrass State. So who are these guys?

1  Stacy Wilson
Jr. | 6-3 | 185 | Forward
He played the past two seasons at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. Wilson played his prep basketball at Mullins (S.C.) High School, where he averaged 20 points per game and earned Class 2A All-State honors from the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association.

2  Ed Daniel
Jr. | 6-7 | 215 | Forward
At Woodlawn H.S. in Birmingham, Ala., he won the Class 5A slam-dunk contest at the state tournament. Daniel was named to the Birmingham News’ Class of 2009 Super Seniors, ranked seventh among the top 12 players in the metro area.
• Season averages: 7.7 points ... 5.0 rebounds

3  Isaiah Canaan
Jr. | 6-0 | 193 | Guard
In high school, he was a finalist for Mississippi Mr. Basketball after leading Biloxi to the Class 5A state championship. Canaan was the state tournament MVP, and a finalist for Gatorade Player of the Year. Earlier this season he became the 38th member of the MSU 1,000-Point Club.

4  Latreze Mushatt
Jr. | 6-5 | 210 | Guard
He came to Murray State from Missouri-Kansas City where he played for two seasons. Mushatt played his prep basketball at Saginaw Arthur Hill H.S., where he was named to the Detroit Free Press All-Michigan Team and was a Michigan All-State selection by The Associated Press.

10  Zay Jackson
Fr. | 6-0 | 175 | Guard
He was named Louisiana All-State in Class 2A. Jackson finished as St. Thomas Aquinas’s second all-time leading scorer with more than 2,500 points. He also won the Class 2A triple jump state championship three times and won the high jump once.
• Season averages: 3.8 points ... 4.8 rebounds

11  Donte Poole
Sr. | 6-3 | 190 | Forward
He was a Nevada Class 4A All-State selection in 2007 and was named MVP of the Vegas Valley Tournament. Poole attended Sound Doctrine Christian Academy in Lagrange, Ga., during the 2007-08 season.
• Season averages: 14.6 points ... 3.6 rebounds

13  Brandon Garrett
Jr. 6-9 | 200  Forward
He played the 2009-10 season at Indian Hills Community College. As a high school player, Garrett was All-Region and Arizona All-State 4A Honorable Mention as a senior at Paradise Valley H.S. in Phoenix.
• Season averages: 2.9 points ... 2.5 rebounds

14  Jordan Burge
Jr. | 5-11 | 162 | Guard
He was a standout player at Northside Baptist Christian Academy School in Mayfield, Ky. Burge averaged 30.9 ppg in his senior season, and had a high-point game of 67 in a game against Mount Vernon, Ill. He also was class valedictorian (4.0 GPA).

23  Dexter Fields
Jr. | 6-2 | 190 | Guard
He joined the Murray State program after playing the past two seasons at UAB. Fields was a four-year letterman at Olympia High School in Orlando, Fla., and was named All-State three times by the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches.

32  Jaylen Bland
Fr. | 6-3 | 202 | Guard
He was a two-time First Team All-City (Los Angeles) and made California Class 5A All-State. Bland also played football, and was second team All-City quarterback as a junior. He began his prep career at Arthur Hilles High School in Saginaw, Mich., and was an All-District shortstop.

33  Jewuan Long
Sr. | 6-1 | 175 | Guard
He is two years removed from a season-ending knee injury as a sophomore. In high school, Long led Liberty Tech High School in Jackson, Tenn., to the Class 2A state title as a junior and senior, and was named tournament MVP in 2006. As a senior in ’07, he was named Mr. Basketball.
• Season averages: 8.7 points ... 3.2 rebounds

34  Harley Nussman
Fr. | 6-10 | 228 | Center
He joins the program from Pearland (Texas) High School, where Nussman was a two-time All-District 24 pick in Class 5A. He averaged 13.8 ppg as a senior and grabbed 9.2 rebounds with 2.8 blocked shots, which ranked him among the best shot blockers in the Houston metro area.

42  Ivan Aska
Sr. | 6-7 | 230 | Forward
Aska averaged a double-double as a senior at Boyd H. Anderson High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and was named MVP at the Rock Holiday Classic in Las Vegas and the Roundball Classic in Georgia. Earlier this season he became the 37th member of the MSU 1,000-Point Club.
• Season averages: 12.6 points ... 6.0 rebounds
