The Associated Press | January 9, 2014 Tyndall, Southern Miss. agree to contract extension Share HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Mississippi and head coach Donnie Tyndall have agreed on a new four-year contract that extends through the 2018 season.The school says Tyndall will be paid a base salary of $500,000 annually under the new contract with possible incentives for accomplishments like conference championships, NCAA tournament appearances and season ticket sales.If Tyndall leaves for another job, he owes the school 35 percent of his remaining contract.
