Missouri's Brown to enter name in NBA draft

Jabari Brown
COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Missouri junior guard Jabari Brown, an all-SEC pick who led the conference in scoring, announced he will enter his name in the NBA draft.

Underclassmen have until April 15 to withdraw their name from consideration and retain college eligibility. Brown said Wednesday he'll use the time to make an ''educated decision.''

The 6-foot-5 Brown averaged 19.9 points and topped 20 points 19 times, the most at Missouri since Anthony Peeler in 1992. He scored 20 points in 12 of 18 conference games, the most since Derrick Chievous in 1987-88.

Brown ranked among conference leaders in several statistical categories including field-goal and free-throw percentage, free throws made, 3-point percentage, 3-pointers made and minutes played.
