Virginia guard Justin Anderson out 4-6 weeks with fractured finger

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.  Virginia head coach Tony Bennett announced late Saturday that junior guard Justin Anderson has a fractured finger on his left hand and will undergo surgery on Sunday. Anderson is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with the injury.

Anderson suffered the injury in the first half of No. 3 Virginia’s 52-47 win against No. 9 Louisville. He ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game. Virginia (21-1, 9-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) returns to action at NC State on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
