The mock selection exercise is taking place in Indianapolis and mimics the process that the NCAA’s actual 10-member committee will use except for a few differences. The main difference is the mock exercise takes place over two days, while the selection committee members will convene on Wednesday before the tournament and then work for the next five days on the 68-team field. Also, the mock committee’s process is expedited when necessary for time purposes. Stay with NCAA.com on Thursday and Friday for coverage of the 2015 Mock Selection.

In #mockbracket, we ether are stubborn or have conviction: No revised seeding yet halfway through review of at-large schools.

Debate on UNC/Louisville now in seeds: "I'd rather play North Carolina any day than this Louisville team."
— Jason Anderson (@J680Anderson) February 13, 2015
Among reasons: Already ahead on seed lines UK, Va., Wisc, Gonz, Vil "won" tourneys. So no second on taking vote to even move over Vil/6.

Mock co-chair @slmandel: “This is the most important vote we’ll do.” Mock co-chair @clubtrillion: “This is where Twitter gets mad at us."

One of our NCAA #mockselection facilitators says we've been talking a lot more about close losses than the real committee, which rarely does
— Stewart Mandel (@slmandel) February 13, 2015
#mockselection First Four teams: Michigan State, UCLA, Stanford, Oregon. That's a lot of long flights.

Ultimately, this is the authentic version of First Four Out. #mockselection pic.twitter.com/gP4XLmN1qr

Seems like a lot more discussion during this year's media #MockSelection versus last year when more time was spent just voting.

Sitting in on #mockselection this morning. Interesting discussion. Pretty cool experience

As a Mock Selection alum (Class of 2012), hope this year's crop enjoys it as much as I did. Ridiculously fun and informative.

Love that NCAA does a mock tournament selection with members of the media. Check out #MockSelection to follow along, good look at process.

The technology the NCAA committee has to compare teams is crazy. Hover over a stat and it highlights for all teams. pic.twitter.com/nc41ZY2g6N

Indiana has just been voted into the tournament on the first round of the teams under consideration

NCAA mock: Now it starts to get tough. We just picked 8 teams from the 45 under consideration. I'm not allowed to vote for #LSU.

The results are in: First vote has 17 "in" the field. (Gonzaga won the WCC in this exercise.) pic.twitter.com/eSYZtUu8Ws

Greetings from #NCAAmockselection ... Kansas has played zero games vs RPI 201+. NCAA facilitator: "Never seen anything like it."
— Teddy Greenstein (@TeddyGreenstein) February 12, 2015
One NCAA selection rule reminder: men's teams can't play on their home court. #LSU played at home last year this was allowed in 1986.

Mike Tirico just introduced himself at NCAA mock selection, made sure he pointed out he was Syracuse's lone rep in this tourney. Tremendous.

In Indianapolis for the NCAA’s media mock selection deal. I assure you, if we leave your team off, it’s because we’re biased and hate them.
— Brian Hamilton (@BrianHamiltonSI) February 12, 2015
Going to be at the NCAA mock selection exercise today and tomorrow. I'll report on the size of the TV monitors.

Off to @NCAA HQ for some Mock Selections. If the tournament started today, who's out and who's in? Going to be a fun exercise. #nerdingout
