NCAA.com | February 13, 2015 The social scene from the Men's Mock Selection Share The mock selection exercise is taking place in Indianapolis and mimics the process that the NCAA’s actual 10-member committee will use except for a few differences. The main difference is the mock exercise takes place over two days, while the selection committee members will convene on Wednesday before the tournament and then work for the next five days on the 68-team field. Also, the mock committee’s process is expedited when necessary for time purposes. Stay with NCAA.com on Thursday and Friday for coverage of the 2015 Mock Selection. So no second on taking vote to even move over Vil/6. — Vahe Gregorian (@vgregorian) February 13, 2015 Here's the #MockSelection seed list, 1 to 68, so far: pic.twitter.com/rgKaGeVQuA — Brian Hamilton (@BrianHamiltonSI) February 13, 2015 Faux Stanford AD @TeddyGreenstein is absolutely livid over the fake First Four travel logistics his fake team fake faces. — Brian Hamilton (@BrianHamiltonSI) February 13, 2015 Dave Worlock reveals that Wisconsin beats MSU in the Big Ten tourney final. That's a lot of long flights. — Stewart Mandel (@slmandel) February 13, 2015 Ultimately, this is the authentic version of First Four Out. #mockselection pic.twitter.com/gP4XLmN1qr — Malcolm Moran (@malcolm_moran) February 12, 2015 Seems like a lot more discussion during this year's media #MockSelection versus last year when more time was spent just voting. — NCAAJordan (@NCAAJordan) February 13, 2015 Sitting in on #mockselection this morning. Interesting discussion. Pretty cool experience — David Lentz (@PacersDave) February 13, 2015 Attending @NCAA Tournament Mock Selection Exercise. Ridiculously fun and informative. — Bill Potter (@billpotter_HL) February 12, 2015 Love that NCAA does a mock tournament selection with members of the media. Check out #MockSelection to follow along, good look at process. — The Steelers n'at (@thesteelersnat) February 12, 2015 The technology the NCAA committee has to compare teams is crazy. Hover over a stat and it highlights for all teams. pic.twitter.com/nc41ZY2g6N — Will Haskett (@willhaskett) February 12, 2015 Indiana has just been voted into the tournament on the first round of the teams under consideration — Jason Anderson (@J680Anderson) February 12, 2015 NCAA mock: Now it starts to get tough. We just picked 8 teams from the 45 under consideration. I'm not allowed to vote for #LSU. — Scott Rabalais (@RabalaisAdv) February 12, 2015 The results are in: First vote has 17 "in" the field.
