UMass basketball does parody of "The Office"

The beginning of basketball season is almost here, and UMass is once again parodying a famous television show.

Last year, it was "Full House." This year, it's "The Office."

Chronicling the first day of practice, the Minutemen employed the mockumentary filming technique that made the NBC show a hit for 10 seasons in the aptly-titled web series, "The Court." From inter-squad jokes to behind-the-scenes action inside the UMass practice facility to a rendition of the opening music from the real show, "The Court," provided a fun start to what should be an interesting basketball season.

Drexel men's lacrosse upsets No. 13 UMass to earn a spot in CAA championship game

Drexel raced out to a 9-2 lead and held on for a 15-12 win at No. 14 UMass in the CAA Semifinals at Garber Field. Ross Blumenthal made 11 saves, many of the spectacular variety, as the Dragons (7-7) advanced to the CAA title game for the first time since 2014.

NCAA hockey Frozen Four 2019 : Minnesota Duluth shuts out UMass to repeat as national champion

The 2019 NCAA men's ice hockey tournament began on Thursday with semifinal action. Minnesota Duluth beat Providence to advance to the championship, while UMass defeated Denver in overtime. The Duluth Bulldogs then topped UMass for the national title.
