Most would agree that Tar Heel-baby blue is one of the most well-recognized colors in all of sports.
North Carolina has done little to tinker with its color scheme over the years, and as the old saying goes, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’
UNC’s home and road uniforms are still as gorgeous as ever -- but it’s 2015. Alternate uniforms are a thing. The Tar Heels are embracing the trend now, too.
For the first time ever, North Carolina will wear black uniforms this season. They’ll debut the fresh threads against UCLA in December.
