The senior forward grew up in Orange City, Iowa and played AAU basketball with a few Hawkeye players. The win for the Vikings, who were named the preseason No. 1 in the DII coaches poll, is the second time in this week alone that a DII program has stunned a DI program. St. Thomas Aquinas cruised past St. John's on Wednesday night.
