UNC basketball: Tar Heels to wear new Jordan shoes against Maryland

North Carolina will wear some swanky new custom Jordan shoes for the Tar Heels bout with former ACC rival Maryland on Tuesday night for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

The shoes -- Air Jordan XX9 'Mascot' PE  -- not only feature the team's signature Carolina blue and white colors, but also the Tar Heel's mascot, Rameses. Take a look:
