Syracuse to wear ‘Pearl’ warm up shirts vs. Notre Dame

This week, Syracuse fans began raising money for former Orange hoops star Pearl Washington, who is suffering from a brain tumor. Washington needs extensive, nearly constant medical care, and there is a website where folks can help Washington’s cause.

To do its part, Syracuse basketball is wearing the below warm ups before Thursday night’s game against Notre Dame. Check them out:

Washington wore No. 31 while at Syracuse, and the cursive writing featured on the shirts is straight from the Cuse jerseys of the 1980s. Here’s to hoping Washington’s condition improves soon.
