The Yale forward converted his 27th straight field goal on Friday night against Columbia, setting an NCAA record. James Thompson of Eastern Michigan and Torian Oglesby of Bowling Green previously held the single-season record of 26 makes in a row. He followed that up with three straight perfect shooting days, going 9-of-9 against Brown on Jan. 22, 7-of-7 against Penn on Jan. 29 and 8-of-8 against Princeton on Jan. 30. Sherrod's streak ultimately ended at 30. What an impressive run.
