State trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half to Vanderbilt. But a late rally by the Bulldogs gave Weatherspoon (24 points) a chance to end the game in dramatic fashion. He did not disappoint. The Bulldogs are 4-4 in their last eight conference games since starting 0-5. Vanderbilt is 15-11 (7-6) after the defeat.
