Oregon State basketball: Stephen Thompson Jr. drills crazy game-winning 3

You have got to be kidding, Stephen Thompson!

With Oregon State down two points and just over three seconds left against Washington, Thompson went the distance of the court and knocked down a 3 at the buzzer to give the Beavers the win.

Talk about a freshman coming through in the clutch.

Thompson finished the contest with a team-high 18 points. The win pushed Oregon State's record to 16-10.

 

Nevada baseball: Keaton Smith hits walk-off homer to complete sweep over No. 2 Oregon State

On the first pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning, senior Keaton Smith blasted a home run over the left field wall to give Nevada a 7-6 walk-off victory over defending national champion No. 2 Oregon State on Tuesday afternoon.

Against the defending national champions on Monday night, Nevada (22-18) clawed its way to a dramatic 8-7 walkoff win in the 12th inning over No. 2 ranked Oregon State (28-9-1). It was the first time Nevada won against a top-10 team since defeating No. 6 ranked Clemson 7-5 in 2017.
