There are buzzer-beaters, and then there are buzzer-beating dunks.
With 4 seconds left and a two-point lead over UCLA, Oregon State's Derrick Bruce grabbed the ball away from the Bruins and tossed it to Gary Payton II, who sprinted up court in the final moments to throw down a game-sealing windmill dunk for the Beavers.
The score gave Oregon State an 86-82 lead, enough to beat UCLA in Los Angeles for the first time since Feb. 1, 2003. The victory also gave the Beavers their most conference victories (nine) since 1992-1993, a sixth seed in the Pac-12 Tournament and a resume booster for a possible NCAA Tournament berth. Payton II finished the game with 17 points, six assists and five rebounds.
