Michigan State participates in rigorous beach workout

This wasn't your ordinary trip to the beach.

Tom Izzo’s Michigan State Spartans are perennially known as one of the most well-conditioned teams in college basketball, and it’s easy to see why.

Todd Moyer, Michigan State’s strength and conditioning coach, recently led the Spartans through an intense beach workout on Lake Michigan. See it for yourself:

Michigan State has plenty of talent to replace from last season, including Denzel Valentine, Bryn Forbes, Deyonta Davis and Matt Costello. But this remains clear â€“ few teams are going to be more prepared for crunch time than the Spartans.
