Rutgers goes all red with newly painted court

Rutgers has a new court design to go along with its new coach at the helm for the men's team as the Scarlet Knights try to turn a new page in 2016 coming off a 7-25 season.

The program tweeted a time-lapse video Wednesday that shows the Rutgers Athletic Center's gradual change from an black-trimmed sideline and baseline to a newly painted all-red outline that matches the scarlet "R" at half court as well as the two keys.

The new shade of red also appears to be darker than that seen on the original court.

All seven of the Scarlet Knights' wins last year came at home. They hope this new court design will spark similar success in addition to more wins on the road.
