Alec James loans Nigel Hayes cleats for workout

At Wisconsin, the football and basketball programs are like family.

Each has had a ton of success in recent years; the football team won the Big Ten West in 2014, while the basketball team reached the national championship game in 2015. So it comes as no surprise to see the programs helping one another out.

The Badgers basketball team recently held an outdoor workout, and defensive end Alec James loaned a pair of his cleats to hoops star Nigel Hayes:

Year in and year out, the Badgers are one of the most well-conditioned teams on the hardwood. It's easy to see why.

Hayes and his teammates are getting after it in the September heat.
