No. 15 Notre Dame’s matchup with Syracuse Saturday came after a nine-day road trip for the Fighting Irish.
The last time the team played in front of a home crowd was four games ago against Clemson on Jan. 7, and apparently the Irish were more than ready to give their fans a show.
Ten minutes into the first half, Matt Farrell drove to the lane and unleashed a beautiful behind-the-back dime to V.J. Beachem for the slam. Beachem would go on to finish the game with a team-leading 30 points to go along with his highlight reel slam.
Notre Dame led Syracuse 41-32 at the half before cruising to an 18-point victory (84-66). The Fighting Irish currently sit alone atop the ACC standings at 6-1 in the conference.
