Coach Cal has his answer. In an interview with Bleacher Report, Calipari was asked to rattle off his all-Kentucky starting lineup. He included three of his star big men: “Well, Anthony Davis. John Wall. Karl Towns. I’d probably play DeMarcus Cousins and let Anthony be a 3. And what would the last position be? Shooting guard? I’d probably say Devin Booker.” Calipari has made four Final Fours in seven years at Kentucky, and 28 of his players have been selected in the NBA Draft. Naturally, he was going to leave some deserving players off – Brandon Knight, Eric Bledsoe and Tyler Ulis come to mind. Regardless, the Towns-Cousins-Davis-Booker-Wall quintet is wildly impressive. We’ll see if that five changes over the next decade or so.
