Anthony Chiusano | NCAA.com | February 18, 2017 Watch: ULL stuns ULM on buzzer-beating half-court shot Share Louisiana Lafayette guard Johnathan Stove said he had never hit a half-court shot at any point while playing around in practice. Fortunately for Ragin' Cajuns, Stove found greater luck with that shot in live game action on Saturday. Trailing by two points to in-state rival Louisiana Monroe with 3.8 seconds left in regulation, the Ragin' Cajuns came up with a rebound off a ULM missed free throw attempt and Stove was quickly given the ball. With little time to spare, the junior guard raced up the court, took a step past the half-court line and fired a last-second prayer that found all net as the buzzer sounded. Q: So @iso_stove when you're goofing off in the gym, how many times have you hit that shot? A: None. #GeauxCajuns pic.twitter.com/dx93vUaZS3 — Ragin' Cajuns MBB (@RaginCajunsMBB) February 18, 2017 The 3-pointer gave ULL the dramatic 85-84 road win.
