WATCH: Young fan saves the day at Boise State game

It started like a game of Horse gone wrong.

In Tuesday night’s showdown between Fresno State and Boise State, a loose ball ricocheted over the backboard and got stuck between the bars behind the basket. Fresno State players tried to lodge the ball free, using several tactics, but to no avail.

Then, young Boise State fan Hunter Hales saved the day. Take a look.

He even got the postgame interview treatment:

Awesome stuff out of Boise. The Bulldogs would go on to top the Broncos, 74-67.
