Watch: Failed alley-oop pass turns into half-court shot instead

Temple guard Quinton Rose was ambitious to attempt an alley-oop pass destined for forward Obi Enechionyia from beyond half court in the first half of the Owls' matchup against South Carolina Thursday at Madison Square Garden.

The pass itself required an incredible degree of accuracy and precision, and the chances of him connecting were less than favorable.

Rose and Enechionyia did not connect on the alley-oop as Rose's pass was just a little off the mark ... instead, the pass was too much on the mark. Instead of an assist, Rose was credited with three points as his long loft caught all net.
