ANNVILLE, Pa. -- Megan Pauley notched a season-high 15 points as Franklin & Marshall held eighth-ranked Lebanon Valley to just 28 percent shooting en route to a 48-41 victory on Monday evening in non-conference action. The Diplomats (8-2) have now won eight consecutive games, while the Dutchmen (10-2) fall for the second time this season.

The Diplomats jumped out of the gates quickly and never looked back as they led from start to finish. F&M scored on each of its first four possessions to open up an 8-0 lead. The Diplomats led by as many as 14 points in the first half before taking a 33-21 advantage into the break.

LVC slowly chipped away at the F&M lead as the second half wore on, cutting the edge to five (46-41) with 4:08 remaining following a layup by Tierney Hiltz. The Diplomat defense then clamped down throughout the final stretch as they forced six turnovers and held the Dutchmen scoreless for the remainder of play to preserve the win.

Pauley paced the Diplomats with 15 points and six rebounds, while Alexa Barbush added 13 points and Allison Bauer also reached double-figures with 11 points. Kristina McCarthy grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds in the win.

Hiltz led LVC with 15 points, six boards and four steals, while Caitlin Bach added eight points and six rebounds.
