BURNABY, B.C. -- Simon Fraser has entered the USA Today Top 25 Coaches' Poll, coming in ranked 17th. Nova Southeastern, Tarleton State, Indiana (Pa.), Wingate and Drury also entered the poll.

The Clan head into this weekend's home opener, their first Division II game as full-fledged members of the NCAA, with a 4-1 non-conference record thus far.

SFU started their season at the Disney Tip-Off Classic in Anaheim, Calif. and defeated former-No. 8 UC-San Diego, as well as the former-No. 13 Grand Canyon.

Last weekend, the team suffered its first loss of the season to Colorado Mesa before rebounding with a 74-52 victory against Dixie State.

Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe leads the Clan with an average of 14.4 points per game and the Clan have also receiving a significant offensive contribution form Erin Chambers, who has averaged 14.2 points per game.
