Sophomore Massey to transfer from Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue sophomore Joslyn Massey plans to transfer to another school.

Head coach Sharon Versyp made the announcement Tuesday.

Massey appeared in 23 games during her first two seasons at Purdue, averaging 3.1 minutes. Massey averaged 0.8 points and 0.2 rebounds last season.

A 6-foot Detroit native, Massey says she enjoyed her time at Purdue but did not say what schools she may consider.

Versyp thanked Massey for her ''hard work'' on the court and in the classroom during the past two seasons.
