Fordham signs head coach Gaitley to extension through 2021 season

Stephanie Gaitley
NEW YORK -- Fordham signed head coach Stephanie Gaitley to an extension through the 2021 season on Tuesday.

Gaitley led the Rams to their first Atlantic 10 title this past spring and Fordham's first trip to the NCAA tournament since 1994. Fordham (25-8) lost 64-63 to California in one of the most exciting games in the tournament.

The 25 wins were the third most in school history. In just three years at the school, she's transformed the Rams into a winning program again. In 2008, Fordham went 0-29 to set the NCAA record for losses in a season.
