SC's Sessions hits 70-foot buzzer beater

Second-ranked South Carolina downed No. 18 Kentucky 78-68 on Thursday night, and not without one of the shots of the season.

As the buzzer sounded on the third quarter, Khadijah Sessions' heave from the other side of the court went in, giving the Gamecocks a four-point lead heading into the final frame.

Alaina Coates led South Carolina with 27 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. The Gamecocks' next game is at home against top-ranked Connecticut on Monday in a battle of unbeatens.
