A day after unveiling its new throwback football uniforms for this year’s homecoming, Pittsburgh continued to flash its style Wednesday, revealing its slick new basketball court design.
The Petersen Events Center will now show a script version of “Pitt” at half court for men’s and women's basketball games, replacing the previous all-caps print version of the letters. The change comes after it was announced last year that all Pitt athletics would return to its old script logo in 2016-17.RELATED: When does college basketball season start?
The finished floor design was unveiled on Twitter by the women’s basketball program Wednesday afternoon. In addition to the new script logo, the two keys were painted navy and the inside of the 3-point arc is now a slightly darker shade of beige than the rest of the court.
