Luke Puskedra

Key Notes: Puskedra put together his best all-around campaign as a junior with a third-place finish at the NCAA championship meet. He also finished fourth or better in every race in which he competed last season. Puskedra led the Ducks to the Notre Dame Invitational team title where he also won the individual race. Named as the NCAA’s top cross country freshman and the 2008 Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year, he was one of only two freshmen nationally to earn All-America honors in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.

• Division II: Sophomore Isaac Chavez will look to build upon last season's fifth-place individual finish at the NCAA championship meet as No. 5 Chico State competes at the Humboldt Invitational on Saturday.

• Division II: No. 1 Adams State and No. 2 Western State headline the field competing at the Joe I. Vigil Invitational on Saturday with the victor likely to top next week's Division II rankings.
