Key Notes: Devine, a two-time All-American, powered Southern Indiana to its seventh consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championship when he captured the individual title with a time of 24:29.4 on the 8K course. The senior will be looking to build on that momentum as he leads the sixth-ranked Screaming Eagles at the Midwest Regional this weekend.

Keep Your Eyes on This

• Three of the nation's top-four teams will meet up in Denver this weekend to compete at the Central Regional. Six berths to the NCAA championships will be up for grabs as No. 1 Western State, No. 2 Adams State and No. 4 Colorado Mines all are set to take to the course on Saturday.

• No. 3 Grand Valley State and No. 6 Southern Indiana are set up for a weekend showdown at the Midwest Regional in Grand Rapids, Mich. Tyler Emmorey leads the way for the Lakers as he looks to defend his regional individual title that he captured last year. Meanwhile, Brendan Devine will look to spark the Screaming Eagles to their first regional championship since 1991.
