Despite the extreme weather in Colorado, Colorado College plans to host its invitational on Saturday.

No. 7 Missouri Southern State at Southern Stampede

Missouri Southern will host its Southern Stampede on Saturday, when the No. 7 men will entertain -- in addition to Arkansas and Tulsa — two ranked NAIA teams.

Missouri Southern States' Eric Schott took on Arkansas on Sept. 6 and he beat all but two of its runners en route to National Athlete of the Week honors.

No. 8 Southern Indiana at Indiana Intercollegiates

No. 8 Southern Indiana jumped two spots in the polls from the preseason rankings.

This week the Eagles will rest their top men's performers in preparation for the Greater Louisville Classic Oct. 5 in Louisville, Ky., but USI will send a small squad to Bloomington, Ind., Friday for the Indiana Intercollegiates hosted by Indiana.

Every college and university in Indiana, no matter the size or NCAA affiliation, will be competing in Bloomington on Friday with more than 750 runners taking to the course. IU last hosted the event two years ago in 2011.

No. 9 Alaska-Anchorage

No. 10 Edinboro at Edinboro Rag Relays

Edinboro will be competing in its lone home meet of the year on Saturday as they host the Lake Erie Storm for the Rag Relays.

The Rag Relays are held annually in the fall at Edinboro, and consist of three-member teams with each member running four 1,500m legs.  All times are accumulated and added together to create the final finishing time. This will be the first year of the event under new head coach Rick Hammer.

The Fighting Scots are coming off a strong showing at the Wisconsin-Parkside Midwest Open, in which Dustin Thomas was the top finisher for the Fighting Scots.

Last year, the top trio on the men's side in the Rag Relays consisted of returning seniors Bryan Deibel and Dylan Stevens.
