SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame Invitational held a lot of drama on Friday. The meet was hyped because of the presence of so many ranked teams, however, neither of the top-10 teams in the race won the title.

No. 30 Columbia upset the field winning the race with a score of 113. In second place was No. 7 Tulsa with 124 points. Ninth-ranked Princeton came in third with a score of 147. Following Princeton was Minnesota with 155 points, No. 16 Colorado State with 189, No. 21 New Mexico with 202, No. 22 Notre Dame at 236 and No. 24 Virginia at 279.
