No. 6 Portland at Beaver Classic
Sixth-ranked Portland will travel to Oregon State for the Beaver Classic on Saturday. The event will be Portland's final one before the WCC Championships and postseason journey.
The Pilots excelled at the Wisconsin adidas Open on Oct. 19 and pulled together at the end to secure third place in the team competition.
The first Pilot to cross the finish line was redshirt junior Scott Fauble. His time of 23:36 was good for a 15th place finish.
No. 7 Wisconsin at Wisconsin-OshKosh Open
Now, No. 7 Wisconsin leapt into the top 10 this week after being ranked No. 20 in last week's poll. The jump in rankings follows a stellar performance at the Wisconsin adidas Open on Oct. 19. The Badgers placed fourth overall in a stiff field.
Redshirt freshman Malachy Schrobilgen and junior Michael Van Voorhis led the way for the Badgers in one of the nation's most competitive races of the pre-championship season, featuring 19 of the top 30 teams ranked in the latest USTFCCCA poll, including five top-10 teams.
This week, Wisconsin will travel to Oshkosh for the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Open on Friday.
