Preview: Wisconsin-Oshkosh hosts meet again

No. 5 Wisconsin-La Crosse at Luther Invite

Wisconsin-La Crosse will compete in a dual meet with Luther on Friday.

In competition last week, UW-La Crosse placed second at the 33rd annual Jim Drews Invitational. The Eagles totaled 96 team points while St. Olaf College (Minn.) won the team crown with 41 points.

Jacob Peterson was UW-La Crosse's top finisher, placing 12th overall with a time of 25:25.3

The meet will serve as a warm-up before UW-La Crosse competes in WIAC Championship on Nov. 2.

No. 10 Wisconsin-OshKosh at OshKosh Open

Two weeks in a row, Wisconsin-OshKosh hosts a meet. This time, the OshKosh Open will be held on Friday.

Division I seventh-ranked Wisconsin will be present at the race.

Last weekend at the Brooks Invitational, Wisconsin-OshKosh took fourth place out of 37 teams.

Derek Johnsrud paced the Titans with a time of 25:04, good for 16th place overall. Finishing back-to-back at 27th and 28th were McKena Ramos and Sean Kutz, who both clocked a 25:15.
