DII XC Championship times moved up due to impending weather

The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Committee has decided to start the championship races approximately one hour and 45 minutes earlier Saturday morning due to impending weather to ensure the well-being and safety of student-athletes, coaches and fans.

The 2017 NCAA Division II competitions, being held at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind., will begin with the women’s race at 9:30 a.m. ET, followed by the men’s race at 10:30 a.m. ET. The awards presentations for both championships will be held on site shortly after the completion of the men’s race. Gates will open for all fans at 7:30 a.m.
