LEESBURG, Va. -- Meghan McGlinchey dominated the field for the second consecutive week and the La Salle women's cross country team took first place at the Mason Invitatational on Saturday.

McGlinchey finished the 5870 meter race in 20:44.8, crossing the finish line 1:38 before the second place runner. She caught her breath in time to see six of her teammates finish in the top 11.

Wendy Hutchinson finished second (22:06.8) while Stephanie Bearish (22:23.6) and Michelle Capozzi finished fourth and fifth (22:31.4), respectively. Christa Strycharz (23:05.3) ended up seventh while Samantha Gallagher (23:10.8) , Elizabeth Walker (23:12.1), and Meghan Lutz (23:23.3) finished ninth through eleventh, respectively.

As a team, La Salle compiled a miniscule 18 points; George Mason, the second-place finisher, ended with 84 points.
