Salisbury falls from top spot in NFHCA Coaches' Poll following upset
CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Salisbury dropped from the nation's top spot to No. 2 in the NFHCA Coaches' Poll, released on Tuesday.

Salisbury went 1-1 last week, including a 2-1 victory against then-No. 16 Rowan and a loss to Capital Athletic Conference opponent Mary Washington. The Sea Gulls collected five first-place votes in the poll.
The top five saw minor adjustments as Middlebury took over the No. 1 spot with 45 first-place votes, while Bowdoin and Montclair State each remained in the third and fourth spots, respectively. Bowdoin earned one first-place vote.
No new teams broke into the top 20 this week and the largest move occured for Rowan, which moved from No. 16 to No. 13.
Mary Washington jumped back into the top five while Franklin & Marshall sits in the sixth slot with the final first-place vote.
