TCNJ Athletics | October 17, 2013 Quick work Share READING, Pa. -- In a battle of schools that sport Lions as a nickname, it was TCNJ that had all of the bite as it handled Albright 6-0 on Thursday. The win put the Lions at 11-2 on the season, while Albright slipped to 6-9. TCNJ didn't waste any time as it played with the lead from the opening minute with junior Lindsey Hatch scoring 42 seconds into the game with an assist from classmate Erin Waller. Hatch struck again with her team-leading 14 goal of the year 8:36 expired when she tipped in a pass from freshman Jaclyn Douglas. Junior Erin Healy made it 3-0 midway through the period, before Waller closed out the scoring with only 23 seconds left before the break. That goal was assisted by freshman Shannon Cowles. In the second, the lead continued to expand with junior Victoria Martin scoring 6:06 in the first half and Waller added her second of the game nine minutes later. On the defensive end of the field, the Lions were dominant as they outshot Albright 27-1, as goalie Kelly Schlupp made the only save as she combined with Amanda Krause on the shutout.
