DII Weekend Preview


No. 1 Shippensburg

  • Fri. vs. No. 6 Bloomsburg in PSAC semifinals.
The Red Raiders needed double overtime to beat Bloomsburg in September.

No. 2 Millersville

  • Fri. vs. No. 4 West Chester in PSAC semifinals.
Millersville has outscored West Chester by a combined 5-1 score in two games this season.

No. 3 LIU Post

  • Fri. vs. Adelphi in NE-10 semifinals.
Keliann Margiotta had a hat trick as the Pioneers beat Adelphi 5-0 in early October.

No. 4 West Chester

  • Fri. vs. No. 2 Millersville in PSAC semifinals.
Alayna Brown's hat trick against East Stroudsburg helped the Golden Rams make the PSAC semifinals. 

No. 5 Stonehill

  • Fri. vs. No. 7 Merrimack in NE-10 semifinals.
The Skyhawks is making its fifth trip to the NE-10 semifinals in the last six years and 10th trip overall.

No. 6 Bloomsburg

  • Fri. vs. No. 1 Shippensburg in PSAC semifinals.
Bloomsburg has won 18 PSAC championships in school history, last winning the title two years ago with conference tournament wins against Indiana (Pa.) and Shippensburg to capture the 2011 PSAC crown.

No. 7 Merrimack

  • Fri.  vs. No. 5 Stonehill in NE-10 semifinals.
The Warriors beat Stonehill in their last regular-season game.

No. 8 East Stroudsburg

  • NONE
The Warriors were eliminated from the PSAC tournament in the quarterfinals by West Chester.

No. 9 Limestone

  • Fri. vs. Newberry in ECAC semifinals.
Limestone beat Newberry 6-0 on Oct. 30, the first of two 6-0 wins in a row for the Saints to end the season.

No. 10 Indiana (Pa.)


  • NONE
Lost to No. 6 Bloomsburg in the PSAC quarterfinals.
