Campbell named head coach at Wheelock

Erin Campbell has been named head coach at Wheelock College, director of athletics Dwight Datcher announced. Campbell served as an assistant coach during the 2013 season and brings multi-level coaching and playing experience to the Wheelock sideline. 

During the 2013 season, Campbell was responsible for coordinating and implementing the team's practice schedule, creating the team's offseason conditioning program, overseeing game management and recruiting. Her coaching resume includes serving as the varsity assistant coach at Arlington High School and work as a coach and camp counselor at various field hockey camps throughout the Northeast. She also holds a Level 1 coaching certification from USA Field Hockey. 

Campbell played collegiately at Babson College for two seasons before ending her career due to injury. She earned her bachelor's degree in business management from Babson College in 2011 and her master of education in policy, planning and administration from Boston University in '14.Â
