2017 NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship field announced

DII Field Hockey: 2017 Selection Show

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division II Field Hockey Committee has selected the six teams that will be participating in the 2017 NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship.  Three teams were selected from the Atlantic and East regions. Two preliminary rounds will be on campus sites Saturday, November 11. East Stroudsburg and LIU Post will receive first round byes in the six-team field. Millersville will travel to Saint Anselm for a first-round contest at 5 p.m. Eastern time. The winner will meet in a semifinal match-up against LIU Post. Shippensburg will host Stonehill in the first-round contest at 1 p.m. Eastern time. The winner will advance to play East Stroudsburg.

Semifinals will be played at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium on the campus of Bellarmine University in Louisville Kentucky. The final will be played at 11 a.m. at Trager Stadium on the campus of the University of Louisville.
